Last night I fell asleep to the sound of rain... It´s been so long since that happened! The room was very cozy and I enjoyed a hot shower this morning. Now I´m off to breakfast, which generally costs about $2 or $3 here. And it´s very easy to find vegetarian food, and that of course makes life easier. Then I´m on my way to Lake Atitlan via Chicken Bus, Greyhound Style, or Shuttle. Tough decision...

By the way, I'm in Hawai'i for the summer where I've been hanging out with my best friend from elementary school. His dad, who is from Guatemala, is sick with liver cancer.
